What you'll be doing

Be able to start a production line and make necessary adjustments to assure quality throughout the run, such as brix and CO2. Water Check, every 2 hours. Check incoming CO2, when needed. Record Dew Point, 1 time a shift. Mix lime, 1 time a shift. Cutting, day shift. Calibrate (weights, gauges, etc.), when needed. Change bleach barrel, when needed. Add chlorine tablets, when needed. Special projects as assigned from Leader and/or Manager. Perform any and all tasks as needed for the ongoing good the quality control department, as well as the company, i.e., rework, cleaning the plant, painting, etc. Make recommendations concerning ways to improve our department. Able to be an affective team member. Willing to support the safety quality and reliability of the plant and team.

What your background should be

Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to fill out routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively and convey information to other employees. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers. Reasoning ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
