What you'll be doing
- The candidate will be responsible for managing, supervising, leading, and/or performing professional engineering and scientific work involving: construction, renovation, inspection, decommissioning, and/or demolition of structures, infrastructures, and their environmental systems above or under the earth surface; investigation and evaluation of the earth physical, natural, and man-made features; and transportation, utilities, building and construction industries. Duties and responsibilities vary and may increase according to grade level.

- U.S. citizenship is required. Must be registered for selective service, see legal & regulatory guidance. A security clearance may be required. Total salary varies depending on location of position. PCS expenses if authorized will be paid IAW JTR and Air Force regulations. Recruitment incentives may be authorized. This posn is subject to provisions of the DoD priority placement program.
Required Schooling / Training
- Professional engineering degree, three years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a related field.
