What you'll be doing

Maintain payroll paperwork and files. Resolve employee concerns regarding payroll questions and issues. Process wage garnishments. Process payroll requests; direct deposit and W-4 changes. Process payroll for multiple companies on a semi monthly basis. Calculate pro rated pay for teachers based on individual school calendar. Process final pay checks for terminated employees or employees on leaves of absence. Generate various scheduled reports each pay period. Create/issue manual/interim checks through supplemental payrolls. Assist with employment verifications. Administer time sheets, and produce reports when needed. Enter and process all new hires, position changes and terminations. Assist with various research projects and special projects. Perform other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

Two or more years of payroll experience preferred. Experience with ADP Payroll a MUST. Excellent software skills, especially with Microsoft Office, pivot tables are a big plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Superior problem solving skills. Ability to work effectively both with and without supervision. Highly detail-oriented and analytical.
