What you'll be doing
- The Senior Manager will develop methodology and best practices with the national insurance industry vertical resulting in published articles and potential speaking engagements. Coach and manage consultants from a project and career advisor relationship; identify strengths and issues; drive and develop better behavior to create strong consultants. Contribute to the development and expansion of the Insurance Industry Vertical. Client development. Responsible for key client relationships and growing those accounts within the insurance industry vertical and cross selling to other areas within WMP. Actively lead and participate in business development with prospective clients including solution definition, pre-sales, estimating, negotiating and project planning all to achieve revenue goals at the Senior Manager level. Create work plans, pricing estimates, and risk assessments for prospects.
What your background should be
- A minimum of 15 years of experience with at least 5 + years of professional services consulting experience engaging in client delivery. Strong entrepreneurial spirits, having a desire to own client relationships, expand those relationships and originate new client opportunities. Must have experience managing a variety of teams, including small engagements as well as large programs. Strong analytical, problem solving, and quality experience. Strong communication skills to be able to work with clients and present to C-level executives. Ability to travel as required for client and internal engagements (50%+, mostly US travel).
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree required; MBA is plus
