What you'll be doing
- Create and maintain the project workbook, ensure all project documentation is completed to PMLC/SDLC standards, archived in the workbook, and updated as changes occur. Work with the project team to define the Work Break-down Structure (WBS); include all dependencies, integration, and required sequencing (within the project and with other projects). Work with resource managers to ensure resources are assigned to all required tasks and the allocations are leveled. Develop and baseline the project schedule, and manage change control. Create and manage the project communication plan, in collaboration with the project sponsor and key stakeholders. Document and monitor risks, define management plans, and escalate as necessary. Document issues and resolution strategy, monitor status, and escalate as necessary document and monitor decision requests, and escalate as necessary forecast project budget and track actual. Compile and report status to the designated RAC Project Management Office (PMO) and stakeholders as required. Ensure project compliance with established PMLC standards, processes, tools, and requirements. Exemplify the core values and mission statement of company. What your background should be
- PMP certification (unless an exception can be based on experience and proven project delivery). More than 5 years leading projects ($500K and above, with 10+ team members). Demonstrates excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to lead within highly matrixed environments. Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and lead multiple projects concurrently. IT or business project experience, depending on needs for the specific PM role. Proficient in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word. Microsoft Share Point user experience.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree preferred.
