What you'll be doing
- Assists, motivates, and maintains the highest level of productivity in order for the department personnel to resolve accounts on an expedient basis. Manages training and consistently monitors personnel for productivity, quality and effectiveness. Advises ways to improve the system as well as individual employee performance. Organizes activities of the department by establishing standards, checking results and taking corrective action. Provides direction and assistance in the solution of problems. Assists in the professional development of supervisors and strives to ensure they can work autonomously and assist in his/her absence.
What your background should be
- Supervisory experience in patient accounting required. Basic knowledge of patient accounting and general ledger accounting required. Work requires frequent sitting, walking, bending and lifting. Works in a fast-paced environment with numerous interruptions. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds. Each employee has the responsibility to work in a safe manner.
Required Schooling / Training
- High School diploma or GED required; bachelor degree preferred.
