What you'll be doing

Creates, composes and manages relational databases responsive to administrative, clinical, or medical staff needs. Analyzes, correlates, trends and generates a variety of multiyear reports and other related correspondence. Assists with the technical aspects of building and distributing clinical, financial, and operational reports using MS Access, MS Excel, Crystal Reports, and MS Share Point. Analyzes hospital performance against service reimbursement, quality and cost measures. Provides timely and accurate reports of these measures to physicians and hospital leaders. Identifies and reports quality and service improvement opportunities through analysis of TMH and benchmark data. Serves as a resource for various statistical analyses. Writes and runs SQL and VBA queries using, MS Access, and other tools. Evaluates database structures, and work with IT personnel to making modifications as needed. Demonstrates the components of the ICARE values statement. Follows all safety rules while on the job. Reports all accidents promptly and corrects minor safety hazards. Communicates with peers and management regarding any hazards identified in the workplace. Performs other duties as assigned.

What your background should be

5 plus years experience working with relational databases and report development. Background in healthcare is preferred. Registered Nurse with current Texas license. Cardiovascular Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification, Transplant Specialty certification preferred.
