What you'll be doing

Develop and implement procedures that support international trade policies to ensure full compliance with the US and international regulations regarding import and export of material, information and technology. Understand principles of transportation, modes, carriers and responsibilities of parties to a transaction. Prepare documentation for export approval with supporting documentation to include the analysis of shipping quotes, method of shipping, the necessary bonds, permits, import licensing, tariffs, equipment classification, carnets, foreign agent and custom clearances as required. Responsible for implementing the corporate policies and procedures in the management of the division export/import compliance program. Conduct annual internal audits to assess the export/import compliance of the division. Determine applicability of export authorizations for hardware, software, technical data and services and authorizes exports and licensed imports. Conduct annual division wide training for export/import compliance. Provide guidance to program and technical reviewers regarding jurisdictions/classifications of products including support of ECCN/USML and HTS classifications.

What your background should be

Minimum of fifteen (15) years experience in Export Compliance and International Trade with a minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to travel.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience, with training in export regulations.
