What you'll be doing
- The Director of Patient and Family Relations works under the supervision of the Vice President of quality and compliance and is responsible for leading patient and family relations through the development, implementation and ongoing review of a patient satisfaction program that supports consistent delivery of quality care and services. The Director of Patient and Family Relations responds proactively to patient and family concerns and compliments, conducts concurrent surveys, reports and analyzes results and develops training and/or performance improvement projects focused on continually improving patient and family relations. The Director of Patient and Family Relations serves as a liaison between patients, families, staff and regulatory agencies.
What your background should be
- Licensed social worker in Illinois. 5 years-experiences in clinical, counseling and a healthcare administrative roles; hospice experience a strongly preferred. Previous experience in customer relations required; grief counseling experience a plus. Experience with quality assessment and performance improvement preferred.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree in social work
