What you'll be doing

Responsible for conducting asset protection audits, inspections, and assessments in the field and producing and submitting reports to Operations teams. This position recommends procedural improvements and uncovers and verifies fraud during store site visits. Trains operators on asset protection best practices. This position conducts smaller analytical projects and supports assigned operations zone for all asset protection issues. Conducts asset protection audits, inspections, and assessments in the field, conducting investigative interviews and arranging evidence for potential police intervention. Uncovers and verifies fraud during store site visits. Prepares and submits reports to operations teams on ap audit findings. Recommends procedural improvements and recommends disciplinary action for GMs where fraud is uncovered and verified. Trains operators on asset protection best practices. Provides training to Operations Leaders, GMs, and Associates on site and in class presentations on cash handling compliance and related procedures. Conducts smaller analytical projects and supports assigned operations zone for all asset protection issues. Trains new analysts on asset protection audit process.

What your background should be

Minimum three years of relevant experience; computer/technical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; project management, analytical skills, and assessment skills; time management and organizational skills; strong communication (oral and written), customer service, listening, and interpersonal skills. Ability to solve problems independently. Ability to analyze and interpret data to reach actionable conclusions related to associate behavior. Ability to travel 30-50%. Successful completion of annual store training.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree (preferred fields: Criminology, Political Science, Accounting).
