What you'll be doing

The manager, accounts receivable manages the daily operations of the accounts receivable function which includes leading the A/R supervisor team to ensure daily tasks are completed and departmental goals are met. In addition, the manager, accounts receivable reviews and develops business processes to increase efficiency, enhance productivity, and improve customer experience. Monitor and guide A/R supervisors to ensure all procedures are followed and remain in compliance with established SOX controls. Implement and perform quality management and measurement processes related to invoice completeness, accuracy, timeliness and transparency. Collaborate with other department personnel to determine root cause of process errors and associated process improvement solutions. Design, establish and monitor team performance metrics. Assist with preparing departmental presentations for quarterly business reviews. Provide direction to resolve significant and complex service billing or pricing problems. Provide support for internal and external audits as required. Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

What your background should be

Previous supervisory or management experience preferred. Minimum of 3 years accounts receivable experience. Intermediate to advance level of proficiency with Excel is expected. The ideal candidate requires having strong leadership and supervisory skills, excellent analytical skills, problem solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills with both internal and external customers, effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently, multi-task, and work under pressure.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or GED required. Master degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
