What you'll be doing
- Network Consulting Engineer will provide consulting services including security optimization subscription (SOS), security design assessment (SDA), security design/configuration reviews, and company security product implementations. Individual will serve as a team member for extended engagements focused in the US Central Region (travel time 50%); will be responsible for finalization and delivery of reports for each consulting engagement; will prepare and deliver formal presentations for senior (C-level) executives; will develop and maintain software tools to enhance company consulting services; and will contribute directly to company knowledge management initiatives by documenting and briefing other company security consultants on lessons learned from engagements and by developing new methodologies for delivering services.
What your background should be
- Minimum of nine (9) years experience in systems/network security administration. Candidate must be a self-motivated individual that is dedicated to exceeding client expectations, be willing to contribute to team efforts, and possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills. Experience in project management, ability to clearly communicate security planning and technology issues verbally on both a formal and informal basis to all levels of client staff or for network security industry events/seminars, and posses experience in team leadership/mentoring.
