What you'll be doing
- Provide technical assessment of equipment to determine what components should be repaired or replaced to maximize equipment performance. Calibrate and adjust equipment to meet or exceed performance criteria and maximize business results. Maintain tools, equipment and company assets in good condition in order to ensure effective response to mechanical or technical problems. Regularly inspect plant production support systems and equipment, distiller, refrigeration, production lines, process security, waste water treatment in order to support effective plant operation. Develop and maintain an effective preventive maintenance program in order to improve production efficiency and ensure optimum machine time availability. Inspect facility to assure adherence to safety and operating policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) using company policies and procedures. Maintain the plants manufacturing equipment in sanitary condition clean and sanitize tanks and pipe routings, maintain conveyor belts, clean according to company GMP policies and procedures in order to assure the quality of the manufactured product. Investigate and identify root causes of any facility safety or security incident or environmental regulation non compliance in order to prevent re occurrence of similar incident at same or other facilities. Review plant production equipment environment in order to recommend process improvements. Protect all intellectual property, information and technology surrounding confidential processes and products using established legal safeguards in order to prevent a breach of trademark security within the company. Monitor relationships with vendors or suppliers in order to ensure proper capabilities, conformance with company standards.
What your background should be
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician in a maintenance department. Requires good communication skills, problem solving skills, time management skills and decision making skills. The willingness to be flexible with working hours is a must. Ability to perform work tasks with minimal assistance and supervision.
Required Schooling / Training
- High School diploma or GED
