What you'll be doing
- Develops and maintains relationships with internal/external clients and business partners. Identifies business needs, service requirements, key issues, alternative solutions, and resources for the clients and business. Manages assigned plans to assure that plans are administered according to the plan documents and agreements with the client. Monitors overall client satisfaction, progress of all ongoing work and projects, and process improvement in order to improve service delivery. Accountable for plan information produced and released to clients. Responsible for employer mailings in region. Serves as internal and external contact for employer problem resolution. Reviews/maintains client contracts to verify compliance and attaining agreed upon service levels. Reviews state legislative changes and identify impact on business. Coordinates benchmarking efforts for business unit. Assists in the negotiation, administration and communication of plan documents, service level agreements or contract commitments with assigned client base. Assists in defining the communication channel and facilitates communication and integration of services between business unit and client. Serves as point of contact for the client. Assists in the evaluation of strategies and objectives of the business partners and recommends proper services and products. Develops and implements strategic plans, coordinates reports, communicates performance results and develops action plans, in conjunction with management. Promotes and supports the sales and production of products through highly interactive relationships. Assists in new product development and field introduction. Performs other duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- Five years of related experience including, but not limited to, customer service, sales, relationship management, project management, communication, marketing and relevant line management experience in an insurance or financial services environment. Knowledge of marketing techniques and approaches, systems analysis, change management, facilitation and negotiation, and project management. Participation in, or attainment of, technical coursework such as LOMA, FLMI, CLU, ChFC, FALU, or HIAA preferred. Some areas may require NASD series 6 license. Knowledge of public sector retirement plans and services or financial services.
