Bike Technician

What you'll be doing: The bike technician position is a fun and challenging position that allows to share love of bikes with customers and co workers in a real shop environment. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. Assist customers in an enthusiastic and courteous manner; provide customer service. The candidate is responsible for properly taking in all service work including correctly filling out service work orders, scheduling an appropriate amount of repairs and completing those repairs in a timely manner. The bike technician is responsible to fulfill the company defined customer experience by being a friendly, available, customer focused and excited team member. The candidate must have to achieve sales goals through selling bikes and related merchandise. The incumbent will responsible for bike building, repair and service. The candidate will consistently promoting company programs including warranty sales, scorecard, private label credit card, etc.

What your background should be: Minimum 1 to 2 years of related experience preferred. Previous bike mechanic experience and bike knowledge is a must. Ability to create an excellent customer and team experience. Good time management skills. Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast paced environment. Candidate must be flexible in working a rotating schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
