Software Engineer

What you'll be doing: Gather requirements, design, develop and test high-reliability applications, and provide end user support if needed. Design, implement, and support the applications on standard development methodologies. Provide programming and database support including web page development and support as well as application testing and validation of result. Work with customers in defining and negotiating requirements. Develop new capabilities, enhancements, modifications, and corrections to existing software and database systems. Document work and results. Manage software application code using version control and problem tracking software expediently and accurately. Work effectively in an agile software development environment. Interact closely with customers.

What your background should be: Minimum of 5 years experience developing Java, C# or similar language in framework. Minimum of 2 years performing web site design. Adherence to the project plans and other standards. Utilization of agile software development approach and toolsets. Experience using PVCS version manager, subversion or a similar version control system. Experience producing high quality documentation to match the development projects. Knowledge of CSS/HTML5, Javascript, JQuery and AJAX. Knowledge of MySQL and MS SQL Server. Possession (or have the ability to obtain) a DOEL clearance.

Required Schooling / Training: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
