What you'll be doing

The HR generalist position serves as the face of HR to company associates and managers and acts as a human resources generalist within assigned facilities. In addition to ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations, this position is responsible for the execution of HR initiatives at the facility level, investigating and resolving associate complaints and conflicts, and the administration of collective bargaining agreements. This position is also responsible for building employee relations capability and enabling management effectiveness through the execution of proactive employee relations initiatives and the delivery of targeted training programs. Implement and execute performance management programs and procedures, including but not limited to performance appraisals and performance improvement plans.

What your background should be

5 years exempt level human resource experience; previous consumer goods, manufacturing or distribution experience; must have previous experience with talent management, organizational development/effectiveness, employee/labor relations, and change management.

Required Schooling / Training

Post graduate degree in related field or MBA preferred.
