What you'll be doing
- The successful candidate will provide remote and on site support for ArcGIS desktop applications to internal and external clients in a GIS enterprise environment. The support will include editing spatial and tabular data perform advanced analysis on network data sets and creating reports. The candidate will be responsible for updating customized code and creating code that support to GIS clientele. Update customized programming applications that support an enterprise GIS implementation. Perform SDE/SQL database administration. Modify existing database schemas to support asset management for civil engineering projects. Troubleshoot client GIS issues as they arise and work directly with client in a remote desktop environment. Edit spatial GIS data. Create cartographic maps to support engineering projects.
What your background should be
- Minimum 2 years experience working with ESRI ArcGIS. Experience working with SDE/SQL environments. Experience writing python scripts. Must be able to acquire and maintain a secret security clearance. Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelors degree in geography, computer science, engineering, planning or related field
