What you'll be doing
- Reviews and assembles completed field investigations for compliance with national standards and customer requirements. Ensures the timely review and preparation of reports of investigation for submission to manager for final review. Reviews completed work for quality assurance purposes. Reviews field investigator reports to ensure they are reasonable and accurate. Must have an understanding of the essential functions of a background investigator to include the requirements to satisfy investigative case acceptance.
What your background should be
- Requires successful completion of an approved reviewer/closer training course. Must have 2-4 years OPM field background investigator experience and knowledge of OPM investigator handbook. Must have a current favorable SSBI to work on the contract and must be able to maintain a favorable SSBI.

- Bachelor degree
