What you'll be doing

Give every customer immediate and undivided attention. Follow through on all customer question and request. Surprise and delight the customer with consistent, delightful service. Assist supervisor in controlling customer flow and backed up line; help to reduce waiting time for customer. Follow proper procedure for customer check out, handling of tender, use of tare, sale of alcoholic beverage, and use of professional liability underwriting society and universal product code. Follow all cash handling procedure; understand, meet and exceed regional cashier variance policy. Keep the customer service department clean, well stocked, and organized, change tape and ribbon as needed, sweep floor and maintain sweep log. Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedure and adhere to safe work practice. Follow established procedure to report error in retail pricing or signage. Support global, regional, and store program. Answer department telephone call and page quickly and with excellent phone etiquette.

What your background should be

Previous front end or customer service experience preferred. Excellent communication skill and willingness to work as part of a team; ability to communicate effectively with customer. Ability to follow instruction and procedure. Effective time management skill. Strong work ethic and integrity.
