What you'll be doing
- Basic responsibilities for the Managing Director role involve: - Build and run a private debt as well as equity placement platform. - Build, supervise and train the members of the team on transaction structuring and execution and new business development including prospective customers, pitch development and presentation, lead generation. - Consult corporate and private equity clients regarding structuring / arranging of funds for growth capital, acquisitions, restructurings, recapitalizations and leveraged buyouts. - Provide reports directly to the Global Head of Investment Banking.
What your background should be
- Desired requirements: - Broad experience in structuring, origination and placement of mezzanine debt, high yield bonds, senior debt, second lien loans and equity-linked securities. - Relevant capital raising skills obtained within a middle market investment banking group. - MBA is a must. - Proven deal closing and new business origination history.
