What you'll be doing
- Responsibilities of the incumbent are to develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services. The individual for the asking position will establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed. He/she will provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Services that he/she will provide might include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification. The individual will use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options. Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.
What your background should be
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills and communication skills-written, verbal and listening required. Applicant should be self-motivated and dedicated to customer service. Applicant should have the ability to conduct interviews in the office and in the home or business of the customer; ability to effectively relate to a customer; ability to execute a detailed business plan; experience in a variety of computer applications, particularly windows; experience in marketing financial products; and knowledge of financial services products. Property & casualty license (must be able to obtain). Life & health license (must be able to obtain).
