What you'll be doing
- Manage long range strategic planning goals and objectives for the IT department, ensuring that IT information initiatives align with enterprise objectives. Define metrics based on overall business objectives to ensure the integrity, reliability, scalability, security, and performance of information and communication systems. Develop, track, and manage information technology annual capital budgets. Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives. Identify emerging information technologies to be assimilated, integrated, and introduced within the company. Partner with finance, marketing and knowledge management groups to ensure IT provides world class technology solutions and support. Assess and make recommendations on the improvement or re-engineering of the IT organization. Lead the full systems development life cycle (SDLC) management of IS/IT programs (POS, CRM, web/collaboration and business intelligence). Oversee the development, design, and implementation of new applications and changes to existing computer systems and software packages, while maintaining, enhancing and ensuring high performing, reliable IT systems. Develop, implement and monitor data security policies and procedures to ensure all data is appropriately handled in accordance with all legal and contractual requirements, and that data security is and remains a primary focus of the IT and IS teams. Work with business leadership on projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements/conflicts and vendor contract clarification. Manage all IT vendors to improve efficiency of investment, processing and future growth. Coach, motivate, mentor and develop staff by providing support, guidance and direction to optimize performance.
What your background should be
- 10-15 years of experience in enterprise technology infrastructure, application development & maintenance, software testing, and IT architecture infrastructure leadership. Experience working with a franchise is a plus. A proven track record of implementing forward thinking technology based solutions and experience with cloud-computing, mobile-computing and digital media required. Experience in managing significant business growth and the people, process and tools to scale with the growth of the business. In depth experience with SDLC management, PCI compliance and IT governance. Experience implementing and managing CRM systems. Strong background in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Strong energy level and dedication. Solid experience with microsoft technologies, exchange, active directory, sharepoint, CRM, salesforce. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to convey information to various audiences.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree in computer science, information systems or related field. Master in IT or computer science preferred.
