What you'll be doing

The shipping lead will prepare freight bills and monitor accuracy of completion. He/she will ensure the accuracy in order pulling, shipping and receiving of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Work closely with freight carriers and delivery services to ensure fastest, safest and most economical on-time delivery of products. Ensure orders are shipped to proper customer location. Monitor bin locations, shelf life and FIFO, inventory counting, and cycle counts. The incumbent will assist with ISO quality assurance. The individual will be responsible for preventive maintenance and incident reporting for warehouse safety. The person in this asking position will follow all federal and state compliance requirements in shipping and receiving products. Monitor warehouse safety and personnel access to warehouse area.

What your background should be

The ideal candidate must maintain valid certificate of completion for forklift operations. 2+ years of warehousing experience in an industrial, semi-conductor, and/or distribution industry required. Applicant must be HazMat certified or willing to complete the necessary training within 90 days of hire. 2+ years inventory processing, cycle counting and reconciliation required. Ideal candidate should be computer literate in MS word and outlook; working knowledge of shipping & receiving software. Applicant should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, able to work overtime weekdays and/or weekends if needed and be reliable, dependable, punctual, and conscientious about production performance.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or GED required.
