What you'll be doing

Responsible for implementing HR policies and programs and managing all aspects of employee relations and development; the ideal candidate will be resourceful and have excellent communication and leadership skills. Act as a strategic HR business partner and recommend and implement HR initiatives. Partner with senior leaders on employee relations and ensure plans of action are being executed and resolved. Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees. Completes special projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions. Manages client expectations by communicating project status and issues; resolving concerns; analyzing time and cost issues; preparing reports. Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Reporting to the VP, human resources will assist VP in managing the overall HR operation and its tactical and strategic direction, including analysis of key success indicators.

What your background should be

10+ years of HR experience. Preferably in retail or consumer products excellent excel skills and technology savvy with HRIS experience. With immigration and visa processing knowledge of federal, state and local labor laws and regulations.
