Securities Operations (GSEC Asset Servicing Team)

What you'll be doing: Securities operations for GSEC asset servicing team will support the securities, investment management and investment banking divisions of the company. The candidate will span all product lines and markets, serving as internal business partners who develop the processes and controls, and help to specify the systems that deliver accuracy, timeliness, and integrity to business. S/he will monitor and execute mandatory corporate action events and income payments. Process cash, optional and stock dividends and liaise with clients to notify and receive elections on voluntary corporate actions and optional dividends. Claim counterparties for outstanding receivables, research, and advice on deliverable claims. Address client inquiries about asset servicing events; provide additional support and clarification when needed. Contribute to project and industry initiatives. Proactively manage risk associated with asset servicing event processing.

What your background should be: The candidate should have at least 3. 5 years of work experience in finance, operations, or related field. Proficiency using the microsoft office suite in particular excel, power point and word. Candidate must be proactive, enthusiastic and team oriented. The applicant should have the ability to remain composed under pressure, ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. S/he should have strong client service orientation, strong written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical skills, well-developed organizational skills.
