What you'll be doing

Diagnose and treat mental disorders; learning disabilities; and cognitive, behavioral, and emotional problems using individual, child, family, and group therapy. Complete psychological evaluations. Attend court hearings as needed. Conduct comprehensive assessments of the emotional, cognitive and behavioral competence of individuals served. Develop detailed interventions to challenging behaviors exhibited. Participate in the development and review of psychotropic medication plans. Train staff in the principles and practices of behavioral interventions.

What your background should be

Valid and current license to practice psychology in the location. Minimum of one year of experience working with people with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Valid and current CPR certification.

Required Schooling / Training

Master degree in psychology from an accredited program
