Readiness Trainer

What you'll be doing: Facilitate and deliver the training to the program participants using visual aids, written materials and training techniques such as interactive participation to advance the skill levels of the participants. Create and design workshops to teach and/or enhance employability skills. Assist department heads and lead users to research and identify competencies and training needs of participants involved in organizational programs. Develop curriculum appropriate to attendee needs including intensive training courses when appropriate. Design programs with career building options. Attend schedule classes, workshops or events to facilitate training. Document delivery of training. Assist participant with applications for student loans, grant and/or other financial support. Work with case managers, employee consultants and other direct care staff to determine specific participant needs. Perform any range of department administrative assignments or special projects as requested.

What your background should be: Thorough knowledge of Microsoft products and a specialized or technical field such as computer science, communications, or education. Ability to analyze technical problems, create and design workshops is required. Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication skills. Must have a valid Florida driving license, valid insurance, reliable transportation for travel.

Required Schooling / Training: Bachelor degree in social work, rehabilitation, criminal justice, education or related.
