What you'll be doing

Performs intermediate to complex analysis and prepares reports including conclusions, recommendations, forecasts and trends. Works with manager in planning, organizing, implementing and carrying out specific projects, new processes and procedures, including department, center or corporate level strategies. Maintains technical or confidential records to meet business requirements. Performs journal entries and account reconciliations. Resolves issues with customers and suppliers and communicates with stores, customers, suppliers and outside companies as assigned. May maintain electronic resources/systems including critical databases. Checks the accuracy of figures, calculations and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other associates. Initiates, implements and measures ongoing process improvements for the department. May use various query tools to extract data and create reports. May assist in training new associates.

What your background should be

3-5 years of experience in the same or related tasks is preferable. Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles. Advanced analytical and decision making skills. Self-starter, high attention to detail, ability to work in a team environment. Understanding of cross-functional enterprise and ability to lead cross-functional projects. Strong interpersonal, analytical and decision-making skills. Thrives in a changing environment with multiple priorities. Excellent oral and written communication and basic problem solving skills.

Required Schooling / Training

Bachelor degree in accounting, finance
