What you'll be doing

The global marketing operations lead for the client company will be accountable for ensuring timely and effective delivery of all aspects of marketing and communications planning and management processes. The candidate breaks new ground and helps define foundational standards for company global marketing operations. Develops and implements marketing and communications management process and reporting strategies. Builds and implements reporting tools to ensure timely and effective delivery of key marketing initiatives. Develops and delivers ongoing analytics to provide the team with insights for better decision-making. S/he supports the marketing and communications planning process, facilitating cross-departmental prioritization and coordination discussions. Works with marketing and communications teams to match resources to demands and drive effective prioritization of department spend. Manages regular marketing and communications operations reviews to align strategy with tactics and ensure effective execution. The applicant oversees annual planning process in accordance with enterprise guidelines, drives transparency, and consistency in strategic and planning cycles to resulting in dynamic, impactful and insight driven marketing plans and effective resource management. Benchmarks the organizations current activities, performance, and investment against industry best practices. Designs and delivers ongoing process improvements for marketing and communications. Partners with finance to insure alignment of processes, data, and metrics related to financial processes. The incumbent delivers strategic project management and execution across marketing as needed.

What your background should be

A leader with a strategic mindset and minimum 10+ years of experience working in marketing and operations roles within large, global, multifaceted b to c organizations. S/he should have demonstrated experience in leading planning and process improvement strategies, knowledge of financial practices and demonstrated project management skills. S/he must have a proven performance and measurement mindset. The candidate should have exceptional organizational abilities and demonstrated excellence with data management, and use of related tools, ability to work in a matrix team environment across multiple functions and geographies. The incumbent should have the ability to work effectively in dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment. The applicant must have the ability to build and leverage internal relationships, demonstrate credibility as a subject matter expert and important marketing support liaison based on knowledge, experience, business acumen, & successful relationship management. Practical business leverage mindset rather than a technical/academic research mindset, passion and energy for getting things done and delivering results, strong commitment to client service and team members required. Adaptable, flexible, and able to manage through change, goal oriented and personally accountable; resourceful, open minded and creative seeks out of box solutions required. Open communicator; excellent oral and written communication skills, customer focus and business oriented, mature and self-motivated required.

Required Schooling / Training

Undergraduate degree in marketing or MBA is a plus.
