What you'll be doing

Partner with HR acquisitions and corporate development teams to appropriately strategize on rewards findings from due diligence through integration. Understand the target companys total rewards elements that are critical to supporting the target companys business success and determine creative solutions for addressing key differences to the company philosophy or program design. Support executive negotiations by in-depth analysis of executive package components and developing options for executive rewards packages. Design approaches that will support small through large scale acquisitions, multi-national and new business model businesses, business divestitures and joint ventures. Ensure compensation and benefit recommendations align to overall rewards philosophy, meet financial criteria for the deal, and follow governance procedures. Participate and present recommendations to various steering committees. Seek proactive partnerships that allow swift stakeholder support and consensus. Influence appropriate project timelines and deliverables. Participate on the rewards leadership team, influencing strategy and governance principles. Define and sustain a scalable integration playbook. Lead a team of four compensation and benefits professionals.

What your background should be

Depth and breadth of compensation and benefit design principles. Strong team leadership/people management experience. Strong business acumen with the ability to link business strategy to organization design principles and integration approaches. Experience in implementing change management practices in program roll-outs and in handling a variety of issues in a climate of change. Exceptional executive influence and negotiation skills with the ability to quickly bring to closure decisions with multiple stakeholders with strong and varying views. Global experience and depth of understanding of human resources functions and processes and their interdependencies. Experience contracting and managing external partners for effective variable support in times of high work volume. Ability to travel at short notice as there may be unpredictable travel requirements at times, dictated by the location of the deals.
