What you'll be doing

Handle all inbound calls regarding patient billing inquiries in a production oriented high volume call center. Handle high volume patient/customer phone inquiries concerning bill balances, payment plans, credit card payment, patient pricing, rebilling insurance companies and general customer concerns. Process adjustments, refunds, transferring bills, mail returns and manual sales. Evaluate and respond to all aspects of written billing inquiries from the patient or their representative, including but not limited to: billing insurances, updating invoices, problem solving billing issues and complex customer complaints.

What your background should be

One year call center experience or one year face to face customer service required. Customer service experience with strong verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on utilizing professional correspondence skills. Basic typing skills and ten key ability required. Ability to maintain accurate records. Strong knowledge of medical billing processes and principles. Demonstrated problem solving skills. Basic knowledge of MS Word & Excel.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or equivalent required.
