What you'll be doing
- As a medical assistant, candidate represents the companies patient care relationships. This position is responsible for assisting physicians with patient care by providing clerical, environment and organizational tasks. The position provides information to the patients in order to fully utilize and benefit from all services offered. It works cooperatively with the care team. The position also provides quality appropriate patient care, utilizing customer service skills throughout the patient.
What your background should be
- Minimum of two years work experience in a medical practice environment or related field is preferred. Has the ability to plan and accomplish goals by utilizing their education, skills and judgment. Knowledge of medications and injection procedures. Deals courteously and efficiently with physicians, insurance companies. Must have user knowledge of technical skills and computers, and/or medical practice software system.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma or GED
