What you'll be doing

The successful candidate for this position is responsible to operate independently among small units or integrate with other US special operations forces or within US navy carrier and expeditionary strike groups to accomplish operational tasks. The incumbent will collect important data about enemy military installations and shipping traffic in coastal areas. The candidate will protect global waters from enemy combatants, performing direct action raids against enemy shipping and waterborne traffic. The ideal person will provide rapid mobility in shallow water areas where larger ships cannot operate. S/he is responsible to operate and maintain ordnance systems, communications, electronics, small boats, and other equipment associated with SWCC and other special operations missions. The ideal person will provide internal defense in foreign regions and offer dedicated support to special operations counterparts. Be the go to resource, applying expert knowledge of everything from maritime navigation to covert communications to advanced weaponry. The candidate will assist other military and civilian law enforcement agencies and take advantage of a generous enlistment bonus.

What your background should be

Candidate must satisfy specific criteria to be eligible for employment consideration. S/he must be US citizenship. Candidate should pass medical and physical screening test. Service commitment minimum of six years of active duty.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
