What you'll be doing
- The architecture and delivery services lead (ADS) is responsible to develop and refine the corporate technology (CT) target state architecture as well as the processes and roadmaps to achieve. The architect will ensure that CT applications are developed to firm wide and CT standards. Application development shared services (ADSS) work to optimize application development and deployment across CT through robust performance metrics, solution engineering, standardization of practices and support of application development communities for continuous learning and communication. This individual will be responsible for contributing to the evolution of CT architecture policy and strategy and facilitating the CT central architecture governance process within or across its lines of business global finance, liquidity risk, legal and compliance, human resources and global real estate, procurement and vendor management. The position will work closely with the CT chief architect, other members of the CT core architecture team, infrastructure architecture, and senior development resources. S/he will communicate, clarify, and promote adoption of standards, guidelines, best practices, and patterns within an n-tier target state architecture and in accordance with overall firm wide policy and standards. The candidate will participate in architecture reviews and governance processes. The ideal person will provide initiative support including assistance with product evaluation, solution architecture, and design. The incumbent is accountable to provide guidance and assistance in the creation of roadmaps and blueprints for the evaluation of the technology portfolio.
What your background should be
- The incumbent should have minimum 5 years of development experience and experience in the financial services industry is highly preferred. The candidate must have demonstrated relationship management skills with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization, including the CIO level. The successful person must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to craft and deliver polished presentations; excellent collaboration, relationship, and consensus building skills.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree in computer science.
