What you'll be doing
- This position works with fund of moderate to high complexity/volume. Trains new accounts and begin to perform limited review of daily work performed by accounting staff. Cash transactions, which may include the following tasks: complete cash and currency reconciliations, cash availability and analyze general ledger cash and currency balance. Provides or requests moderately complex information. Screens calls and responds to non-routine calls, makes proper referrals. Demonstrates appropriate team behaviors. The candidate composes routine correspondence and documentation within area. S/he prepares, formats and edits routine to complex documents. Composes routine correspondence and maintains effective contacts at various levels in the organization. Begins to build external client contacts and is regularly available and responsive to their interpersonal and business needs. The incumbent acts as a team leader. Schedules daily workflow and priorities as needed to meet customer needs, and oversees project related assignments. Provides input to performance review of team members. Works under limited supervision and follows established procedures. This role plans own work and suggests methods and procedures for new work assignments, reviewing with supervisor or input or approval.
What your background should be
- The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or economics with a minimum of nine accounting credits, or equivalent experience
