What you'll be doing
- This field engineer will work as a team lead, performing a wide variety of technical tasks in support of engineering, field operations, installation, system test and integration, system troubleshooting, field maintenance and repair. The successful candidate will be responsible to survey, test, troubleshoot, repair, and install duress alarm systems. In addition, the position is responsible for conducting an inventory of materials, completing detailed daily reports and providing percentage of task completion. The position will utilize various engineering and scientific drawings, manuals and other related documentation to support the performance. The position may assist in the development of procedures. The individual must have a self starter attitude and be capable of working independently after completion of training. The individual will be responsible for installation and technician support at airport locations throughout the United States.
What your background should be
- Basic wireless technology installation knowledge. Demonstrated understanding of duress alarm system design and implementation. Basic understanding of RF transmitter interface. Basic understanding of telecommunications infrastructure interface. Must possess valid driving license. Experience working in airport environment. Experience with MS office products including excel.
