What you'll be doing
- Works with director to establish and execute accounting policies and procedures. Develops new approaches for reporting by working with the reporting and business unit staff. Ensures that business unit staff is provided with training and communication to support their operation and to improve profitability. Monitors functioning of other related systems and liaises with applications support staff as appropriate. Develops and tracks key business measures and works with staff to make improvement recommendations. Provides guidance to staff in handling employee inquiries and ensures that matters are resolved in a timely manner. Demonstrates strong working knowledge of other specified company functionality in projects and general ledger and ensures that day to day maintenance is executed.
What your background should be
- Six to eight years related experience. Certification (CPA) by the American institute of certified public accountants, preferred. Experience with international accounting principles and foreign currencies. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles gained through working in an accounting environment.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree in related field from a four-years college or university.
