What you'll be doing
- Lead and manage an IT staff of engineers, administrators, and analysts. Project leadership for ongoing DR testing requirements and new service introductions. Support of internal and external audit activities surrounding IT DR capabilities and compliance. Maintain corporate, industry, and regulatory compliance for IT DR program. Management and governance of IT recovery tool standards and practices. Conduct periodic reviews of business impact and recommend appropriate changes to DR practices or technical requirements. Lead information systems DR plan maintenance, update, and refresh cycles for enterprise and facility environments. Coordinate periodic tests of communication and alerting tools. Build and maintain enterprise disaster recovery plans covering services, facilities, and is personnel. Effective management of enterprise test, deployment, and technology refresh projects. Develop and motivate staff to high levels of performance.
What your background should be
- Minimum of 8 years of related IT experience including IT project management. Ability to assess and remediate IT service continuity risks. Leadership of an enterprise scale IT DR program. Leading IT teams consisting of more than 10 staff or contractors. Managing large and complex IT projects. Handling multiple priorities and effectively communicating priorities to staff.
Required Schooling / Training
- Master degree in related field.
