Sr. Server Engineer

What you'll be doing: This position is responsible for developing and executing test plan, installation and support documentation, planning and managing initial deployment, training, support and vendor management for server based product. This position research and evaluate vendor proposal for the standardization of hardware and software solution. This position plan, design and recommend platform modification or addition to increase system stability, capacity and scalability. They provide implementation planning, management and support during production rollout. They establish performance standard, policy and procedure. They coordinate training for help desk staff, operation and desktop technician. Monitor and control performance and health of the server resource. Utilize software and hardware tool, identify and diagnose problem and factor affecting server performance.

What your background should be: Five or more years server administration experience in a large networked environment. Experience in supporting a large citrix environment including netscaler application delivery controller. Knowledge of all major storage protocol and network protocol. Ability to manage detailed task efficiently and effectively. Strong project management skill. Excellent customer service skill. Excellent verbal and written communication skill.

Required Schooling / Training: Bachelor of science degree in engineering or computer science
