What you'll be doing
- Leading complex initiative across multiple function and integrated project team by planning, directing and coordinating to the project objective with consideration for risk. Interfacing with the software development team lead and government stakeholder in supporting their roadmap and vision by prioritizing feature, release planning of backlog and system demo. Facilitating the scrum process of planning, weekly staff meeting, weekly review and retrospective with team and project coordinator and proactively remove impediment to progress. Provide agile consulting and steering to multiple level of government leadership, including contracting software development project team. Establish milestone, anticipate issue and monitor adherence to project scope, requirement and design document schedule and to the software development process.
What your background should be
- Minimum of seven years of project management experience. Must have excellent communication and mentoring skill and possess the ability to adapt, be flexible and work well in a cross functional, matrix management environment must have exceptional organization and time management skill. Must have proven ability to work independently with limited supervision. Must have strong analytical and problem solving skill with a high attention to detail.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree in management information system, statistics, public administration, business management or a related field.
