What you'll be doing
- Works directly with enterprise strategic sourcing and other corporate functions to prepare, review, and negotiate licenses, professional services agreements, and other contracts with vendors. Works on a variety of general corporate matters, including corporate administration, internal reorganizations, and policy creation, execution and administration. Works with other members of the legal staff on a variety of legal matters including contract, employment, intellectual property, and regulatory matters. Anticipate and guard against legal risks. Researches and responds to questions that arise from daily business. What your background should be
- At least 7 years legal experience. Commercial contracting experience, especially with respect to software licensing, technology contracts, and professional services agreements preferred. Experience as a corporate generalist valued. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills. Proven negotiating skills. Strong collaboration and teamwork orientation. Highly effective analytical and decision making skills. Ability to investigate complex business problems, develop effective recommendations, present solutions, and resolve problems in a highly professional and tactful manner. Highly motivated, organized, and able to set priorities effectively. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in all MS Office applications.
Required Schooling / Training
- Undergraduate degree required.
