What you'll be doing
- Identify the patient by checking armband to assure transportation of the correct patient. Provide transportation of patients throughout the hospital, including discharge; sign the patient in and out on the unit or uses teletracking transport module. Maintain a cooperative and ethical relationship with patients. Understand and follow infection control/universal precautions in the performance of all tasks. Understand and follow fall prevention and hand-off communication in the performance of all tasks. Responsible for all other duties as assigned.
What your background should be
- Minimum license and certificates required. Must hold a current CPR certification or must obtain during orientation period. Previous experience in the hospital role desirable.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
