Security Support Technician

What you'll be doing
- Will assist customers with security systems equipment issues, schedule service calls and bill service calls. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: assist customers with all incoming service related calls by using proper triage procedures and dispatching technicians as necessary. Write and schedule service tickets. Bill and close service tickets. Working with service technicians, sales team, and contractors on service related issues. Sign off in billing systems on installation orders. Run reports and keep service queue up to date. Other duties as assigned.

- Excellent and effective communications (oral and written) and interpersonal skills. Professional phone manner. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Willingness to work occasional weekends, extended hours, and holidays as required to meet the needs of the business. Experience or training in the operations of all office equipment. Strong multi-tasking skills. Basic computer skills. Excellent customer skills. Previous dispatch/scheduling experience. Experience or training that demonstrates knowledge of security services, products and terminology. Experience with MS Word and Excel.
Required Schooling / Training
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
