What you'll be doing
- Under indirect supervision the incumbent is accountable for supervising the clinical operations of the imaging services department at the assigned facility to ensure that the optimal schedules, staffing levels and payroll outcomes are in effect and are based upon census, acuity and budget. The incumbent incorporates differences into the provision of care and integrates knowledge, skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families with an awareness of cost containment and time management. In addition, the incumbent trains, evaluates and supervises staff in carrying out departmental and hospital policies and procedures. The incumbent is also responsible for other management related functions. The incumbent reports to the manager SA imaging services and has various imaging services technical and clerical position reporting to them.
What your background should be
- Five years recent imaging experience. Effective verbal and written skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Required Schooling / Training
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiological technology
