What you'll be doing

Assist managers and show production staff to prepare and create original event, in-studio, episodic, and digital content. Provide quality control by screening programs and providing accurate run sheets as required. Create and execute project timelines. Work with programming staff to expand content to web, VOD, apps for tablets/smartphones, and mobile video, etc. Provide support in the control room or other locations during remote events and/or studio productions as a graphic or media coordinator or other role as requested. Support automation equipment for regular cablecast programming and LOD encoding. Operate video/audio and automation systems equipment. Support the installation of the video, audio, RF and computer equipment. Communicate to engineering regarding malfunctioning equipment. Act as QC operator for live shots and long-form sports segments. Monitor locally originated networks and special events to ensure good picture and sound quality and to assure that all programs are switched as scheduled by the automation system. Prepare and complete discrepancy/maintenance report forms when problems occur in master control.

What your background should be

Minimum of 1 year experience in MRC/RF/video/audio field, TV production, or equivalent military experience. Ability to read waveform, vector-scope and RF monitor is required. Must possess knowledge of the computer automation systems used in master. Control and sports production. Basic understanding of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control and operation of television broadcasting systems. Requires excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure and time deadlines.

Required Schooling / Training

High school diploma preferred.
