What you'll be doing
- The incumbent is responsible to perform diagnostic procedure with the use of ultrasound, with protocol outlined by the radiologist. Operate diagnostic equipment, develop film and prepare room with necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. Other duties include, but are not limited to, clerical, scheduling, transportation, ordering supplies, inventory, cleaning and anything deemed necessary by the medical imaging management team. Responsible for training of new employee and the overall operation of the ultrasound department. Perform other task as assigned.
What your background should be
- Three years as an ultrasound technologist preferred. Licensure of the american registry of radiologic technologists, registered diagnostic medical sonographer, registered vascular technologist is eligible.
Required Schooling / Training
- Graduate of an American medical association approved school of radiologic technology or ultrasound.
