What you'll be doing
- Use proprietary spreadsheet software to analyze client billing, utilization and payor mix data so that timely and accurate revenue accruals and forecasts are recorded. Monitor practice financial indicators and conveying course of action necessary to ensure the capture of all potential revenue. Interpret monthly management reports for the client and communicating joint actions needed to improve client performance. Investigate and facilitate resolution of billing issues of varying complexity that directly influence client and patient satisfaction; impact client satisfaction by serving as the primary contact for all internal/external information flow and following through to issue resolution. Maintain current understanding of health care industry reimbursement issues and communicating vital information to clients.
What your background should be
- Minimum of three years of healthcare and billing experience. Strong interpersonal and financial analysis skill set, with a particular focus on excellent client service. Solid understanding of hospital operations, physician 3rd party reimbursement and other practice management activities. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree in healthcare administration, finance or accounting
