What you'll be doing
- The software process technical insertion lead is a member of the software excellence team reporting to the manager of software intensive subsystems in the software directorate. In coordination with the software excellence lead, and along with members of the software skill system team and S/SQ, the software process technical insertion lead is responsible for developing and implementing plans for technology insertions into software standard process, in coordination with software skill leads. Integrates process changes for technology insertion across technical and functional domains. Interface to corporate software corporate leadership forum (CLF) for technology process insertion.
What your background should be
- CMMI constellation high maturity requirements for programs and at the organization level. Engineering experience systems and software (methods and aero domains). Knowledge in all facets of engineering life cycle and software interfaces throughout lifecycle (including interfaces with production). Experience on cross-function or cross-organization working groups or teams. Demonstrated presentation and communication. Experience developing strategic plans. Working knowledge of operating excellence. Green belt or black belt certified. External participation in industry standard working groups for software programs and ROI. ISO auditor or audit participant.
