What you'll be doing
- Provide advanced process solutions to ease manufacturability within both the tin/lead and the RoHS compliant or compatible soldering processes. Support capacity or yield improvement initiatives. Create standard work instructions and tooling to support manufacturing releases or builds. Create/update/revise existing manufacturing procedures to support any new improvements. Interfaces with a cross functional team for support with engineering related processes and products as related to both NPI and production. Ensure compliance with audit findings on a timely manner. Provide engineering technical support to the operations or manufacturing processes. Develop and document process validations for automated soldering processes, and aid in process. Leadership and development within process engineering.
What your background should be
- The incumbent should have 5 to 10 years of electronics manufacturing experience. Knowledge on SMT, Post-SMT, conformal coating, cleaning, encapsulation, and mechanical assembly. Advanced SMT technology experience. Lean manufacturing experience required.
Required Schooling / Training
- Bachelor degree in engineering.
